Good morning everyone.. Linda and I are getting ready for the Newtown Cultural Arts Festival.  The weekend is promising to be beautiful and warm.  We're hoping for a wonderful turnout for this first year of the Cultural Arts Festival here in Newtown on the Fairfield Hills Campus.

We have some new pieces of pottery  we think you'll all like. we both seem to be going through a red and white period. We both have created pieces in a beautiful red that will look nice with any décor.  Linda also has some beautiful crocheted pieces she's been working on.

We hope you'll stop by and visit us.  We will be there Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16 from nine to six.

Have a great day, we hope we'll see you there.

Pictures to follow.

Every once in a while I find a technique that I really, really, really have to try.  I saw this video.  It has to do with cake decorating but can totally be done using slip.  Can't wait to try this.  Enjoy the video.
